Can I request a shipping address change after placing an order?
If you need to request a shipping address change after placing an order, please submit a request as soon as possible so the details are documented. Shipping address changes are not guaranteed and depend on order status, shipment status, payment verification, carrier rules, and other applicable factors.
Submit a request
Please submit a request through the Help Center and include:
- Your order number
- The email address used on the order
- The current shipping address on the order
- The requested new shipping address
- A short explanation of the change request
Address changes are not guaranteed
Orders may begin processing quickly after they are placed. Once an order is being processed, packed, shipped, or sent to a manufacturer or supplier, a shipping address change may not be available.
Submitting a request does not pause, hold, cancel, reroute, or delay an order unless IDJNOW confirms that action in writing.
Security and verification
For customer protection and fraud prevention, some shipping address change requests may require additional review. In some cases, IDJNOW may be unable to change the shipping address even if the order has not yet shipped.
After an order ships
Once an order has shipped, IDJNOW may not be able to change the delivery address. Some carriers may offer delivery change, hold, or intercept options, but these services are not guaranteed and may depend on the carrier, shipment type, service level, destination, and timing.
Manufacturer, supplier, and freight shipments
Some orders ship directly from a manufacturer, supplier, freight warehouse, or alternate location. Address changes may be more limited once those shipments are being processed.
Large or oversized orders that ship by freight may also have different carrier rules, appointment requirements, and delivery limitations.
